| Mic has been interested in drawing his whole life.He first became interested in tattoos when he was a young boy and saw some of the Maori facial tattoos in the old technicolor version of the movie "Moby Dick". He and his brother would draw and paint fake tattoos on each other for hours only to wash them off and do it all again.As a teenager he found such wonderful magazines as "Tattoo" and "Flash" and was struck by what was possible in tattooing. After years of working at jobs he wasn't passionate about he decided it was time to devote himself 100% to his art and pursue a career that he always dreamed he would have....Tattoo Artist. Apprenticing at Spiders is an amazing experience.Every day teaches him something new about the art,craft and business of tattooing.He couldn't be happier to work at such a well established and respected shop and to learn from someone with so many years experience and such a good reputation. |
